2 BTs!
BustedTees just came out with 2 of my designs and I couldn’t be more pumped.

This is the first BustedTee I ever thought of and it’s been an ongoing joke since I started interning at CollegeHumor two summers ago. Part of the joke is that it’s such a bad idea. The other part is that I’ve never given up on the idea, and it seems like my persistence has paid off. Will Schneider’s (AKA Taco’s) artwork is awesome.
Thanks Taco!
Also,

“You Don’t Gnome” just came out as well! I thought of this one during a nap in a student lounge before a class, woke up, wrote it down and sat on it for about a year because I didn’t think it was any good. Again, awesome artwork Will!
This idea was presented by Rosie when i was an Intern at CollegeHumor almost 3 years ago, and has stayed on our list kind of as a joke—until today. BustedTees Proudly presents: Hot Lunch.

My own personal “this is why you’re fat”.
3 pieces of toast. 2 cheese steaks, 3 slices of american cheese, 2 fried eggs.
Ketchup on the side.
Everyone else gets cool nerf gun fights and cargo pants parties, whereas this is what I get in the office upon returning to my desk.
Sorry Jess.
I bought Lonely Island’s album Incredibad the other week and it’s great. I’ve realized that we really haven’t seen any purely great auditory comedy (other than Conchords) since Adam Sandler or Tenacious D, so to come out with an album that blends both hilarity and catchy beats is more than enough to make me start buying CDs again.
This is “Like a Boss”.
That’s almost my name on TV!-“That looks like Brad Storch.”
-“No, it says Betty — Betty Stymington.”
Please ignore the Simpsons reference: The CollegeHumor Show show would be virtually impossible without talented, dedicated cast and crew-members like Susanna Whulf.
Pretty epic.
There's no better motivation
than rejection. Just received a nice rejection letter this morning. While I was somewhat expecting it, the little kid inside of me got his hopes up just a tad. Over the past few months I’ve been slacking somewhat, due to a horribly timed bout with laziness/procrastination. A very close friend informed me of this recently, and I took it to heart. Now I can finally get my act together and manage to cross off half of my to-do list.
I had a really good talk with my old friend Mike the other night and we came to the conclusion that rejection, despite its bitter taste, is bar none the best form of motivation.
Use it.
When I saw the first preview for Watchmen a couple months ago I wanted to know everything about it. I went out, bought the book and ended up loving it for all its disordered anti-heroes and incredible story. Now I wouldn’t dare call myself an expert in terms of graphic novels nor an aficionado of comic book heroes and villains, but I’ve still got the heart of a kid, just a kid who’s grown up a little and is ready for a more intense emotional roller coaster that delves deeper into characters and less on the superficial aesthetics. What was great about Watchmen was that it brought a sense of realism to the characters to such a degree that you asked yourself, “Who’s Batman?”.
Unfortunately, the second trailer worries me IMMENSELY. Rorschach’s husky and deep voice is far too reminiscent of Christian Bale’s Dark Knight, making it seem like a cheesy copy-cat instead of an original masterpiece. AND on top of it they may have changed the ending, an ending so unexpected and brutally “realistic” that it pains me to see it Hollywoodized simply to make money for mainstream audiences by appealing more to kids than real fans.
Though hopefully I’m wrong about everything and it turns out to be awesome!
Going home Saturday night I fell asleep on the 6 train heading north back to my place. I usually get off at the 86th Street stop, but this night I went all the way to the Bedford Park stop in the Bronx - 200th Street.
The black dot on the map up to the letter A is how far I really had to go. Instead I went all the way up to the B, had to wait 20 minutes for a train heading South on a platform at 4 in the morning. The worst part was I remember hearing over the intercom that the next stop was 77th Street (which meant mine was one more after that).
The moral of the story: there’s no such thing as resting your eyes for a second.
